You Want Them to Love
Where They Train
You want them to have fun, make friends, feel like they belong and grow in confidence. We want that for them too.
Will They Enjoy It?
Training should be something they look forward to — learning new skills, taking on challenges and having fun along the way.
Will They Make Friends?
Training alongside others gives athletes the chance to share experiences, celebrate achievements and build friendships.
Will They Belong?
Whether they're brand new, finding their confidence or already experienced, there's a place for athletes to be themselves at STA.
Will They Grow?
It's not only about new skills. Confidence, teamwork, resilience and learning to keep trying are part of the journey too.
A place athletes enjoy coming to, where they can connect with others and keep growing.
New to STA?
Starting a new sport can come with plenty of questions. Here are a few things families often want to know before getting started at Sunbury Stunt and Tumble Academy.
What age can children start cheerleading at STA?
STA offers cheerleading programs for different ages and experience levels, including options for young athletes beginning their cheer journey. The best class will depend on your child's age, experience and what they're interested in.
Does my child need previous cheerleading or tumbling experience?
No. Athletes can start at STA without previous cheerleading or tumbling experience. We have options for beginners as well as athletes who already have skills and are ready to continue developing.
What is the difference between recreational and competitive cheerleading?
Recreational cheer is a great place to learn cheerleading skills, build confidence and enjoy being part of a team without the same competition commitment. STA also offers pathways into Cheer Sport, CheerStars and competitive cheer for athletes who want to experience performing and competing as part of a team.
How do I know which STA class is right for my child?
You don't need to work that out on your own. Start with our Find a Class page and consider your child's age, experience and interests. If you're still unsure, STA can help point you towards an appropriate place to begin.
